The short version

Everything runs in your browser. We do not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal data, browsing history, or listing data.

What the extension does

Caterelo Deal Radar reads the property listing page you are currently viewing on a supported portal — idealista.it, idealista.com, idealista.pt, seloger.com, njuskalo.hr or spitogatos.gr — (price, size, condition, location text) and computes a price-fairness score locally on your device, against publicly available market benchmarks (OMI — Agenzia delle Entrate for Italy; INE/INSEE/DZS/ELSTAT-calibrated Caterelo engine data elsewhere).

Data handling

Listing data (price, size, location) is parsed in-page and never leaves your browser.
Local storage (chrome.storage.local) keeps only: your Pro activation status (a yes/no flag with expiry date) and your chosen view preference (buyer/investor). No identifiers, no history.
Network requests: the extension fetches one public benchmark file per country from caterelo.com (static JSONs of market price ranges). These requests carry no personal data and no information about what you are browsing.
Access codes are verified locally by cryptographic hash — the code you type is never sent anywhere.
Deal Alerts (optional, Pro): your browser re-fetches the search result pages YOU saved, on your device, on a schedule — to detect new listings and score them locally. The list of saved searches and seen listing ids stays in local storage; nothing is sent to us or anyone else.
No analytics, no tracking pixels, no cookies, no third-party services inside the extension.

Permissions explained

idealista.it/.com/.pt, seloger.com, njuskalo.hr, spitogatos.gr content scripts — required to read the listing you're viewing and draw the score panel.
storage — required to remember your Pro activation, view preference and saved searches on your device.
caterelo.com host permission — required to download the public benchmark files.
alarms / notifications — required for optional Deal Alerts (periodic re-check of your own saved searches, on your device).

Purchases

Pro is purchased on caterelo.com (payment processed by Stripe; see Caterelo's site policies). The extension itself processes no payments and sees no payment data.
